Meet the Founder

AMPERA Appliance Repair was founded by Azamat Mahmudov, a skilled technician and entrepreneur with a lifelong passion for fixing, building, and helping people. After spending years working in the appliance repair and maintenance industry, Azamat saw a clear gap in the market — homeowners wanted more than just quick fixes. They wanted honest advice, lasting repairs, and technicians who respected their time and space.

Driven by that realization, Azamat started AMPERA with a simple but powerful mission: to bring integrity, craftsmanship, and transparency back to home service. What began as a one-man operation with a single service van has grown into one of Metro Vancouver’s most trusted names in appliance repair — known for professionalism, clear communication, and quality results.

Azamat’s philosophy is straightforward: do every job as if it’s in your own home. This hands-on approach has shaped AMPERA’s culture from day one. He personally trains every technician to ensure that each repair meets his high standards for precision, safety, and customer care.

Outside of work, Azamat is deeply involved in the local community. He supports trade mentorship programs and enjoys helping young technicians build sustainable, rewarding careers. When he’s not in the field, you’ll often find him experimenting with new repair technologies, staying ahead of industry trends, and fine-tuning AMPERA’s service systems to make them faster and more efficient for customers.
